self-employment rocks sometimes

Anxiety attacks don't have to be all bad. Here's how you can make anxiety work for you...

I was feeling suddenly short of breath and, well, panicky. Instead of going to the computer room and lying down in the dark for a while, I decided to take a walk and burn off some of the adrenaline my body decided to start pumping into me.

So even though it's a bit warmer out than I like, I walked down to waterfront park and walked along the grass, moving from tree shade to tree shade like a vampire with only 12 spf sunblock. I got down to the fountain and got my head wet and watched the kids and hippies play around in the bracingly cool water.

Ahhhhh... I felt much better.

But then I had to walk back to the studio, and of course by the time I got back to the studio I was all hot and sweaty again. Oh well. At least I got rid of like 95% of my anxiousness.
So I win.
