Exciting times ahead
I have exciting times ahead.
I'm flying to the UK on Monday (very early - like, my taxi picks up at 2.45am! I mean, is that even technically Monday yet??) to visit my sister for her birthday next week. I'm there until 8th October and am super-excited about it. It gives me a break from every day life which, much as I love life here in Portugal (with my husband and 2 kids), I need my breaks from it, yannow?
Anyhoo, because my flight is early (7am) I land early at East Midlands (10am) from where I have to get the transfer bus into Nottingham and then the train to Sleaford (overall about 1 hour bus, one hour train)
My sister is working til 5 so that gives me a little free time.
Wonder of wonders, the fabulously wonderful and beautiful angelkitty101 is meeting up with me.
How freakin' awesome is that??
So, not only do I get to spend over a week in England, with much drinking, sleeping, and general doing nothingness, I also get to meet somebody fantastic too!
Yay me!
My Spander (eventually) fic is still ongoing. I've written 27 chapters now, which gives me a decent rest period in case I don't get chance to write while I'm away. My sister has the week off (from Tuesday to Monday) so I probably won't get to write but I WILL get to publish on Mondays and Thursdays still - I've got plenty in reserve (I've only published 12 chapters).
I'm loving writing Spander. Really loving it. Another thing to thank angelkitty101 for! My Sherlock writing has been out on hold for now, apart from the occasional short/one-shot, although I have an ever-increasing list if future Sherlock fic ideas/plot lines/titles!
So, that's my week ahead.
