Things are... interesting.
I just discovered this beautiful park right behind my dorm. I must have walked past it in the dark a dozen times, but I had never seen it in the day before. There are these huge old trees, and a nice grassy area, and some benches and tables so you can sit and talk, or work, or meditate, or whatever.
The drama in my room is finally gone, with the third and final break up of my roomate and her boyfriend.
I've met a lot of very interesting people, both through my classes, and through Upstart (the student film group I'm involved with). Of course, there is the usual assortment of idiots, and egotistical jerks, but I've managed to avoid all but one of them so far. And he is agreed to be such a loser across my group of friends that we can all deal with him together.
And I have been arguing about happiness in the ancient world for two hours now. Wow.
I come home Dec. 17, and will be there through Jan. 1. Mark it on your calendars folks. I must see you ALL.
