CHARACTER NAME: Blitzwing
CANON: Transformers: Animated
BACKGROUND: A long-time lieutenant of Megatron, Blitzwing was the first participant in the triple-changer experiment. Blackarachnia's process was flawed, fracturing his processor into three distinct personalities - An icy, disdainful strategist, a furious, short-tempered egomaniac, and an enigmatic wildcard who is just as likely to burst into song as shoot you in the face.
After being separated from Megatron after they infiltrated a small Autobot ship, Blitzwing stayed alongside Lugnut. When they discovered that their leader was not as offline as they had been led to believe, the duo headed to the planet Earth. They were able to resurrect their fallen commander with the help of the AllSpark Key, and continued to serve under him on this new planet.
When the Autobots once again separated them from Megatron, Blitzwing remained on Earth, directionless, until his eventual capture by Lockdown. One failed jailbreak later, Blitzwing was being carted off to the Cybertron stockade, likely facing experimentation or life-long imprisonment.
AXIOM LIFE: Blitzwing has been in Axiom Nexus for a little over two years. He had his own apartment in Zone Four, and worked a steady job at a shabby little ice cream parlour. That was, until his comrades and leader eventually began arriving.
Having sheltered Starscream for a brief time, his lies earned him a rather steep punishment at the servos of both Blackarachnia and Megatron. Poisoned, beaten and legless, he was repaired by the Tyran Soundwave and Barricade.
Not long afterward, Megatron appointed a different Starscream as a new second in command, leaving the triple-changer disgruntled and disillusioned with his long-time commander. Refusing to take orders from the jet, he broke off from the Malgian's team for the time being - He had been a faithful lieutenant for millennia, and refused to fall in line for a Starscream that Megatron had barely known two months.
Since that time, he has turned down multiple offers to join various teams, preferring to remain leaderless for the time being. Megatron began to reconcile with him, but Blitzwing is still unsure of what to think at this point.
His own Starscream has offered him employment at his club, which Blitzwing accepted, but he has yet to take him up on joining his crew of Decepticons. He has never been a traitor, but he has no desire to return to his world just to become an Autobot science experiment - For the first time, he finds his goals different from the Megatron he had sworn himself to.
IDEAS: I... don't really have any for him. He needs to do more things.
