I, Spam, would like to remind the world that everything wrong is not my fault. Got that? good.
Backstory: My roommates are always hot, so our apartment is kept freezing just for them. Our electrical bill is alot bigger than it should be because of it, but I don't complain. I do close my vents though, so my room doesn't turn into an ice box. Their rooms have windows that get direct sunlight, while mine doesn't. I completely understand that they need extra AC to fight that.
Next bit of backstory: When it rains, the rain doesn't touch my window.. so when I know it's going to rain during raid time, I've started opening my window some, so I can hear the rain fall outside, for the sound is good. This has happened a grand total of twice, once last week, once this week.
Actual story: Roommates have been noticing alot more that their rooms are really, really hot. I, in my logical Texan way, deduce that it's 100 DEGREES OUTSIDE, and the sun hitting their window is heating up their rooms a ton. They're opinion? After seeing my window open, once, for a grand total of an hour, they think that my open window (vents closed) have pushed the AC unit past it's abilities, and it gave up and stopped putting out cold air. I speak up, saying differently, and I get THE LOOK. Right, I forgot, sorry, everything is my fault in this apartment. Even the sun on your window is my fault..
I leave in a month, I leave in a month..
