I have wanted to talk to you all weekend. Yes, you're on call at work.. I've waited for you the past few nights because you said you'd log on for me afterwards. At 1 last night I text you, saying "hi, you getting online tonight, or what?" Keep in mind I've waited up for you with no contact until now. Your response? "it's late, I'm gonna rest when I get home, so we can talk tomorrow." Ouch, but at least you're trying to make "tomorrow" aka tonight good.

You have a nephew coming over. You spend all day at work and the gym anyways, then when you get home you brush me off again, so you can hang with him...

It's always a good reason, damnit, it always is.. but you promised this evening to me! Yes, he's family, but you promised! He gave you no real advanced warning when he said he wanted to come over and hang out.. and you said yes. Do I not count for anything? Any family member, when calling things last minute, needs to be ok with the answer of "Oh, if you'd told me earlier, I would have scheduled around it, but I promised a friend I'd meet up with her tonight." No, you give him all your time, calling me to tell me that you may or may not be on, don't wait up.... hun, I've been waiting up already for 3 days... I'm tired of getting blown off. But again, it's always a good reason why you can't talk, and i always understand them... but damnit, I want to actually talk with you for more than 5 minutes!
