The fact that I'm actually looking forward to season six of the Sopranos on HBO is a little disturbing to me. It's a good show but it hasn't been on for a couple of years now. The thing is, there's all kinds of hype about it practically everywhere you go on the television and I really did used to enjoy the shit out of that show back when it was running regularly. I guess that was around two years ago. So I've kind of lost touch with all of the plot lines and whatnot.
When I was living in NJ there used to be two shows that we'd all talk about around the water cooler; Seinfeld and The Sopranos. We'd get into that shit and it was fun to do so, as I recall. But it's been a long time, right?
Here's the thing: I've been trying to watch old episodes to refresh my memory but because I've now got Comcast it seems that every time the wind blows I loose connectivity with the so-called On Demand feature that's supposed to be available 24/7. I'm seriously considering jettisoning Comcast for just that reason but am afraid to because my broadband connection seems to be working pretty well lately. They're going to charge me out the ass for just having broadband cable but I'm thinking that DSL might not be that bad. The whole email address change thing is pretty much a pain in the ass and I just did it around nine months ago, yet I'm thinking about moving over to DSL. I've heard good things about DSL though and do seem to recall that the phones were still working even when we had no electricity after the hurricanes hit this year.No electricity equals no broadband connection in South Florida (***FUCK, I HATE IT HERE***).
Fine, I'm rambling. Any suggestions?
p.s. How the fuck did I end up talking about internet connectivity after starting out talking about the Sopranos??? WTF!
