Starting today fresh and new
Today I decided to make a commitment to myself.
Today I decided to take my problem seriously. I need to stop drinking all together. I need to attend A.A. and I need to find meaning in my existence. I need to connect with my spiritual side and live a balanced life. I met up with an old friend who I've known since college. He moved here a while ago and I feel blessed that he is here to support me as I take these steps. We're all rough around the edges. We all have our problems and it takes a support group to overcome.
I prayed a lot today. I asked God for strength to get through this. I asked for help... because I know I am so weak against this problem.
