holy moly quake!
i experienced my first earthquake (that i noticed) at 10:30 this morning!
yowza!
i was enjoying my coffee and reading a book on the couch, when it felt like the house moved. i initially thought someone had opened/slammed the door really hard, but i didn't hear anything other than the house creak. i realized it wasn't a door when duh... well my roomie is still asleep and no one else is around. then i immediately got on my computer, which took a while to get online, not normal. and looked up seismic activity, los angeles. as i was googling, T im'd me and asked "did you feel it"?
all was confirmed. i am no longer a quake virgin.
all this said... that ish is SCARY! especially when i realize tht when a quake hits i have no realization of what it is and i look around and wonder who opened/closed a door.
