a thought

I don't know what made me think of it, but i've just realized that all my life, I've been the third wheel. I'm always the friend of a couple, whenever I go out, it's often me, my friend, and their boy/girlfriend.

Why is it always like that? Is this my lot in life? To be the single friend?

Sorry to be a downer, I was just thinking about it for some reason.
