I am already a day behind on the meme and IT IS TUESDAY. You don't need me to tell you that this does not bode well. (It does not bode well.) Anyway, I had a not!housewarming to attend yesterday (the key difference between your usual housewarming and a not!housewarming is that there is a distinct lack of furniture which does not fold into itself. Boys!), and I was somehow text-delegated pick-up-pretty-please tasks at the last moment, and by the time I got home it was past my bedtime. I had a good time (my moods are easily placated with sandwiches), but if my friend L wasn't there to offset the home-improvement-speak, I would've been tearing my hair out for sure. True story: I really don't care about drywall, other than the fact that it is... there. Fortunately I was able to redirect the conversation thanks in part to a Friend's reference, i.e. Naked Guy, now you too can be one, living alone and bereft of curtains!
