What does Flavor and Flair do?
Flavor and Flair Scrapbooking provides a service that preserves memories for customers in a creative and memorable way. They provide the materials for people at all levels to enhance their creativeness, whether they would like to buy supplies, such as albums, papers, embellishments or tools, as well as offer classes for beginners and the more advanced. They have also tapped into the need to creating custom scrapbooks for the on the go busy bodies that don’t have the time nor the energy to do it themselves but love the idea!
How is this Store organized?
Flavor and Flair is not specifically organized in a certain way, it is more of an ongoing daily organization between barb and the other employees most of the 5 employees working at the store right now have been there since day one and everyone shares in the daily tasks and involvement of operating the store efficiently and overseeing customer statisfaction. Michelle is the silent partner, she helps and controls the finances of the store, but is more of the silent partner you never see Barb is the top dog overseeing nearly everything that goes on in the store.
Who are Flavor and Flairs Key competitors?
Flavor and Flairs kep competitors in the area are Micheals and Target mass retail stores that have added scrapbook products into their inventory, because these are franchise stores and are extremely successful and well known they have the ability to order the same products as the independent stores but price them twice as low, making it almost impossible to compete with their outrageously low prices. This is also the same for QVC also known as the homeshopping network, which also has tapped into the scrapbookin market and has priced products at extremely low prices and have made almost impossible deals and packages to compete with. Most of these kinds of places have made it almost impossible for the independent stores to thrive.
