I chime in: "haven't you people ever heard of closing the god damn door"?

oh geez. This semester has been tough. Over the next few days, I hope to give a comprehensive view of exactly why, but for now I'll just
The end of this semester saw professors giving me sadistically tough assignments, such as giving me THIRTY THREE pages of copy (times new roman, 10p font) to make into a booklet in three weeks. These "three weeks" included thanksgiving break, making me wish my Adobe suite was working. So it was more like "do a huge book in two weeks. go". My professor even said "I don't want this project to bring you back down to earth, but I want it to bring you down to earth". Essentially he gave us this project to kick our butts. My book turned out to be sixty pages. no joke. I spent over a hundred dollars printing it off for kinkos to give me half the order. yeah. no refund, because I had to turn the project in! >.> ergh.
Other than the huge project of death, exams this time were surprisingly manageble. I didn't pull a single all-nighter: a tradition I celebrate every fall exam period. Maybe I'm being melodramatic about all this. However, I know that I'm glad to be finished with graphic design! (there's a reason why it's abbreviated GD. lol)
Anyway, exams are officially over today. I'm finished with everything school-related, I just have work and Zack's graduation until I come home. Even though going home means the beginning of Zack and I's separation (he's living in Charleston after he graduates), I'm so excited to go home. I'm realizing this is one of the last times I'm going to live at home for a long period of time, because after graduation I'll be moving to Charleston, in hopes of finding a job and graduate school. I guess I'll try to cherish the next few days (which means calming down, something that can be difficult for me from time to time). I see this as one of the moments where my adolescence is ending; I'm becomming an adult, through actions and events.

Oh well, I shouldn't look too far ahead, I still have a half a year until I graduate (hopefully, lol). So, over break I have to start my senior thesis; that and friends will keep me busy over the next few weeks. All I have to say is, I can't wait for everything to start!
