"Does Nite Owl know where you are, tonight?"
It does the trick, sending him further into his personal script. Curling his fists, he snarls, low, just like a dog, and he runs at her. His aim is to hurt her, and it's not a joke like it would be if Nite Owl did this - she has the bruises to prove it. (He has similar ones, which are not from fighting.)
He's stronger than her, and well-versed in multiple ways to take down opponents who are taller than him, but she has the advantage of how badly he wants to fuck her, and she uses it to her advantage. When he aims to punch her face, she lets him, taking the full brunt of it and staggering back with a ragged moan. She can feel him shudder, and it's not because they're that close, but because it's such a fierce reaction to the sound - before he can recollect, she whirls towards him, stars still in her eyes. She lands an easy smack from her crop against his hip, ducks his elbow, and grabs his silly white scarf.
There.
He stills, and she grins around the pain, because he's hers, now. "My, my, aren't you a tetchy little child," she coos, and licks her lips because he always watches her mouth. "Someone needs to learn some obedience!"
"You can't," he starts.
She backhands him into silence.
"It looks like I need to put you in your place," she says, careful to paint the words as long-suffering, impatient.
He's on his knees within fifteen minutes.
