the scientist inside me is dying of excitement.
holy fucking shit, this is epic, and i am freaking out. i am super tired right now, because today i took the sat II (i fucked that shit up and took names? something like that), then i went shopping, then i did highway driving, then i GOT A FUCKING NEW GUITAR THAT IS 100% ACE AND I AM SUPER IN LOVE WITH [I WANT TO NAME IT. which means i'll also have to name the other one, hmmm] AJSDFJAK;LSDKFJ;KLASDJFKSDFJ OMG OMG OMG ALL I WANT TO DO IS PLAY IT AND HAVE IT SLEEP NEXT TO ME IN BED AND NEVER BE PARTED FROM IT, AS LONG AS WE BOTH SHALL LIVE, *cough* and then i had my violin lesson, and then i baked my cake and now i'm doing my assload of homework even though i FORGOT MY MATH BOOK AGAIN. i tried to remember, it just didn't work out. but i decided to partake of benihana tomorrow: sunday or not, that shit is too delicious to pass up.
so anyway, i am doing homework until i run out of caffeine/energy and then i have promised myself that i will add my new icons. IT IS DECIDED.
this music is soooo good.
more on my new guitar: it's a black ovation acoustic/electric. there were 2 that looked the same that i was checking out because i fell in love with ovations when i played mr state bird's when he brought it in. one was used and bigger and had worse action cause the neck was messed up a bit, though fixable and not unwieldy, and the one i got was new and had a smaller body and a brighter sound, i thought. i am in love. i am transfixed.
i was very tempted by this one smaller bodied martin that had a wide (not thick) neck but was the easiest/nicest guitar to play i have ever laid hands on. not swayed by the fact that conor oberst plays a martin (how did steve know that?!), but sort of dissuaded by it being ugly (pine, *shudder*), i opted for the prettier guitar i had been dreaming of.
