Facebook? I hate you sometimes
When I was younger, a friend an I used to be into RPG chats and whatnot and from that we meet a person whom I will call J. Pretty cool guy and I started to talk to him outside of RPG's. We talked and in my error I gave him my real first name and the state and city I live in. (i was once a young and stupid internet user. Not that I've gotten much better)
I stopped talking to him after a bit, I always had myself invisable and just didn't want to talk to him anymore (and a couple other people at the time) I changed my AIM username.
Today I just got a friend request with his name on it and a message:
"Hiya, would you happen to be the very same (my RL name) whom i used to tease so much online with (Friend)? it's J/(AIMname)"
The last time I talked to him was almost 7 years ago. How does he even remember me? How did he even find me?
I checked my friends profile while logged off and like me, she has everything private for those who haven't friended her. She has not friended J. There are over 40 other women with my name in my city. I don't even use the same e-mail addy for my facebook as I had back then, if you hunt via e-mail addy.
It's just. It's just weird.
