(no subject)
A/V tonight was pure chaos. I was running sound, and things were just going totally insane - lights turning red, screeching and humming and feedback. Cue me panicking and waving my arms around and pushing every "mute" button on the board, and everyone looking at me as I wave my arms around and panic about the fact that it's all muted and it's still screaming.
....Sigh.
Just when I think I'm good at it, that happens.
Just when the guy technically in charge of all things a/v stops hovering, something happens like that and then he's back to hovering for a month or so and then we repeat the process. -_-;
'Course, it wasn't entirely my fault - new guitarist joining in, has his electric's volume knob up too high, and seems to refuse to fix it, so it keeps having problems. Also this one guy screams into his mic too much and so it goes red and feedbacks. But again, not me.
And I'm not [supposed to be] doing it on Sunday, so fingers crossed if I do end up filling in for the guy, things go better than that. x_x;
And I'm somewhere between entirely hyper and totally zombielike, so I can't decide if I want to go to bed or run in circles (which I can't do, but that's beside the point), so I think instead I'll sit here and listen to music and play a computer game and lurk peacefully (am so not going on AIM tonight, simply because there are these kids and they think I live to join their suck-tastic sites, and so pester me constantly like stalkers or something!) and the like.
