(no subject)
Was too tired earlier to write properly, but now I woke up (grr, wanted to sleep on through 'till like... nooon.), so:
Askjthaniaethaaeeeee!! Yes, that's very definitely gibberish melting into squeeing, 'cause I had a good night. Youth group kickoff-thing was amazing - though that's probably mostly to do with the fact that while running lights I was "backstage", and about five feet away from the drum kit and Danny's amp (he came back just for this show! So that was awesome!). <3! So my hearing's a little, ah, interesting on one side (I think I can still hear the high cymbals going, it's ringing that badly), but I'm told it will pass, and I don't really care about it at all in the first place 'cause it was too awesome to be bothered by. And now I want to play the drums more than normal. Only thing that would have made it better was if Adam had been playing violin during (especially if he'd been near where I was so I could hear), but overall? Awesome.

I got quite a few pics, mostly random shots while sitting where I was (though I can only really see the backs of Tony and Adam, and not at all half the stage where Steven and folks were), a few from the sound tent earlier. I need to upload them, hum. I have a video, aslo, of Taylor's drumming for this one solo he did, not sure how it turned out but that should prove cool even if the sound on it is bad.
The baptizing went good - no one drowned, so .... And I probably shouldn't have been half-expecting someone to, but, well, I was. Specifically me, but I, obviously, am just fine. Being dunked in water helped with the heat, 'cause, dude, Florida sucks. Though I was silly, didn't have time to change out of my clothes before and into the bathing suit I brought, so then I was wandering about in wet jeans for a little, until I could change into the clothes I was meant to get wet in. Backwards, yaay! But whatever.
Unfortunately, I think I got a tan. On one side, at least. Ugh. It's so hard to stay light-colored around here without melting to death! (And, yes, I do care - I look strange tanned)
Drank more water today than I have in the last six months, I think. Not a bad thing, but just vaguely amusing.
Sisters go back to school tomorrow today. I'm somewhere between "yay!" and "Noooo!", mostly the no because that means I'm left with Peanut / Chainsaw / That Fluffy Thing / Yahtzee (or however that's spelled, it doesn't look right) / whatever we're calling Puppy these days. I swear, he has so many names he's gonna end up with split personalities. I still insist on calling him either Puppy (original, no?) or Chainsaw (because of the giggles a tiny poodle like him being named something like that gives me). Yay because I'll have the house to myself for hours and hours, for months and months! Whoo!
Saltine crackers are really good. I'm probably gonna end up eating this whole pack of them, haha.
And also I have a new themesong, I think. "All Black" by Good Charlotte is made of win, and makes me smile. It even mentions coffee (black coffee, specifically!), so... yes. Awesome.
