(no subject)

So I did not die from SWINE FLU or from whatever else that was/is. I am down to just an annoying nose and the usual headache/dizziness combo that I get sometimes for no clear reason. All is well and I am not dead!

But I am, however, pissed. Because apparently no one around here gets that libraries are not the proper places for:

• Loud conversations about going out for dinner with friends later.
• Unmuting their laptops and letting all kinds of BEEPS and NOISES and CRAPPY RAP MUSIC distract people.
• LOUD PHONE RINGTONES. adlna;tnhal they're really bad about this one, all. the. time.
• BRINGING THEIR SCREAMING BABIES, HOLY FRIGGIN' CRAP.
• Sitting right behind people on laptops and like staring at them. (YES, SIR, I MEAN YOU. I BET YOU CAN TOTALLY READ THIS, TOO.)

So basically I am contemplating mass murder, talking myself out of it, and then someone does something stupid and/or annoying and it starts the cycle over.

akjdnhaknhleh. Now I'm going back to trying to friggin' write something, because the baby has stopped screaming (it's strange how that sound above all others really, really makes me violently angry; I'm never having kids).
