Hmm. I'm standing at concession at the theater, in the corner where there's an outlet and where no one ever goes, plugged in and waiting for my mom to get off work in like fifteen minutes so I can go do normal Friday stuff. Too brainy to write (it keeps being more internal rambling and less with the plot-movement, which would be fine except that I sort of need to move the plot along, so, uh, yeah), so instead ...uh...

Things I like about this laptop:
  • Portable! Like I can totally just pick this thing up and shove it in my bag and GO. It's great.
  • Battery is an hour and a half at maximum charge. That's pretty good for something so small.
  • INTERNET.
  • Doesn't choke up and die when a flash-based ad pops up or something. Which is great, I'm not used to that...
  • USB ports are easily accessible, and it takes my camera's memory chip! Which my computer, and my mom's desktop, and the computer at church do not do!
  • Keyboard-controlled volume! I'm a volume-changing fiend, so that is wonderful. <333
  • Webcam! Great for taking pictures while bored!
  • Built-in finger-warming? I have cold fingers a lot today, so it's kind of nice.
Things I do not like about this laptop:
  • It is hard to type on without fingercramping!
  • The arrow keys are smushed together, making Tetris hard...
  • Battery is only an hour and a half. Which, while good, is not six hours, which is sort of what I need. Luckily I have plugged in a few times today, but still.
  • Screen glare is like WOAH all the time. I don't even know what's up with that.
In other news, I purchased a hairclip today due to having nothing to pull my hair back with (I forgot the tie I usually wear, and my last clip broke). I also treated myself to an iced mocha from the coffeeshop in the mall, which, uh, is awesome. Mmm. They seriously make the most amazing mochas I've ever had, and it's only $3-ish, which is a lot for daily but not bad once in a while. <333

Also, I love when I get along with the employees here like I'm one of them or something. Makes me smile. :)

So today's actually been pretty cool so far. I know that'll go right out the window when I get out of here and to church, but for now I'm enjoying the happiness.

Andand I think I'm going to buy myself a new cross necklace (looks like two nails turned into a cross), since it's $3 and I have a thing for cross pendants and also because it's sort of Easter-fitting and also because it looks mildly potentially gothic and I have the money and I really like it. I'm allowed to buy myself pretty things sometimes, guys! I'm getting used to that!

Also my brain is totally in Supernatural!mode right now. I think I can totally predict the end of the season - maybe I'll type it up later so as to be able to say "I told you so!" or not when the time comes. Tehee! And when I get home I am going to watch some of S1 to relax with, because I know I'll need it. Probably Salvation or something; I was craving that episode last night but then had to sleep so I couldn't watch it...

:)

Oh, and random but I saw a display thing at the store earlier, where it was all on about birthstones and their meanings, and July/ruby is supposed to be "contentment", which is weirdly fitting because I'm a content person to the point where it could be considered a fault. Like, everything is great even when it isn't, because it could always be worse. But yet I'm not an optimist. Hm.

supernatural, coffee, regal, random, tiny laptop is tiny, omg!, friday, hehe!, $$!, sometimes i get introspective
