Apple Cup

Despite the lost possibility of the Cougars going to a bowl game this year there is still plenty of reason why I am looking forward to the Apple Cup this year. For one, I get to go with my Dad. Another reason is that we are going up early and spending most the weekend within walking distance of the Stadium. There will be plenty to do and plenty to party about. We'll be meeting up with Jack and Spike and their friends for tailgating. Friday night my Dad and I are already looking forward to having a nice dinner and then probably bar hopping. We have more tickets than him and I need but we'll only be giving them to Cougar fans. It's my way of spreading anarchy in their materialistic, chardonnay drinking, greedy, purple wearing, Husky lifestyles.

House hasn't sold yet but I am not getting too worried. Not much I can do about it. I've been spending most my free time working on it and now I'll be fixing some of the problems that were noted in the building inspection. But I have to get going with my new career. By Monday I should have my replacement all trained and ready to go and then I'll be ready to go for my training. I'm looking forward to the new position and challenge. I probably will be moving soon and no matter what it can't come fast enough. At least I get one last hoorah in this job and I'll be heading off to Portland this Thursday and spending the night at the Jupiter Hotel which is located close to downtown and the Doug Fir bar is located in the same facility.

Apple Cup and then Turkey Day. This is a good time of year.
