Lately I have been spending most my free time reading The Complete Idiot's Guide to: Celtic Wisdom. Despite the complete idiot dumbing down of information I am very fascinated and enthralled. I relate to it and some of the information I have known in some roundabout way or from old family sayings or just life experiences. The Mythology and lore section has already having me diving deeper along with the Celtic Faery Spirituality. From the Three Paths, to the Seven Dimensions of Celtic Wisdom, I feel like I have finally found a form of spirituality I can relate to and connect with. Pieces of Celtic Wisdom and Irish traditions have always grabbed my attention (and what felt like my soul at times) and I have always wanted to learn more about my heritage and why I have always felt so connected to my Irish past. As I dive deeper into this book, I am finding a connection with the information and how it relates to my life, family background and family characteristics that I have always needed. In many ways it's because I don't feel like such an outsider anymore. It's good to not feel like I am lost and alone or even that it's alright to question perfection. When I bought this book I also bought more on background of Celtic Art and information on the art. These have been some of the best investments I have ever made for myself.
