Hello! A quick update to say I'm doing well; I'm still trying to figure out what to put where in my pint-sized room (i need more things with drawers! or shelves!); and my alarm goes off in less than 8 hours. Adjusting to a morning shift at the shelter will not get the best of me, but it is taking some time to get used to.
It's been raining here almost every afternoon - thunderstorms woo! - which means the grass is greening up again, though it does put a damper (ha ha) on keeping one's windows open. But after tonight's storm the air has finally started feeling cooler, which is certainly a welcome change.
And now it is time to brush my teeth.
