When your car doesn't have air-co anymore (that's a $600 repair I've decided to forego) and the temperatures are in the 80s every day, there are a few ways you change your driving habits.

- You no longer accept passengers (I mean, like, friends are always welcome to hitch a ride but realistically I am not encouraging it)
- You drive with all the windows down, always
- You accept a certain level of hair-poofing by the end of your ride
- And/or, you make sure your hair's really short so the poofing looks deliberate and suave
- You wear sunscreen, especially on your left side (see above: windows)
- You no longer listen to audiobooks, or public radio, or anything spoken
- Instead you blast hip-hop and punk rock loud enough to hear over the roar of the wind
- (Because all the windows are down, when you finally wind up in slow-moving traffic it is important to showcase your particular musical tastes, see)

Anyway. Summer's pretty good so far, extra toasty interior temperatures notwithstanding.

weather: always exciting, i do actually love my car
