gently baking with friends
I spent my day driving around the city running errands with Peter. We left the house a little after 10 this morning, returned briefly at about 1 to pick up Kathy & Rezhiar, and didn't return again until 11 tonight. That was a day! I'm glad I could mostly spend it with Peter, or the whole thing would've been much more stressful. In related news, I now know I can fit two collapsible wheelchairs in my car (the car Peter borrowed could fit three; they're for the elders). I also know that not having AC is kind of rough on warm days.
This evening I snuck away to meet with my friend Chelsea, whom I met through fan communities online last year. We've hung out once before, this winter, and it was great to see her again. We have a lot in common: books, and book preferences, and a love of Hamilton and Marvel comics movies. I'm not sure at this point when I'm coming back to Toronto again, but I promised to let her know.
But now it is very late and I am very tired and tomorrow will be another long day. Bed.
