Possibly, a few weeks ago, your intrepid blogger impulsively booked herself a round-trip plane ticket to Chicago. (Possibly the airline was having a sale.) Possibly she remains slightly sheepish about this, because it was possibly not one of those situations where it's better to ask one's co-workers for forgiveness instead of permission. Ahem.
On the other hand, I will be seeing many other co-workers, all in the city to help with CPT's month-long training of newbies, and I will also be (hopefully) doing some networking on behalf of my team. And helping my Uncle Roy and Aunt Priscilla, since I'm visiting them, too.
My housemates have charged me with bringing back a couple of those really, really big chocolate bars from Trader Joe's. This is what the United States is to Canadians, gentle readers.
Anyway, I'll update tomorrow to let you know I arrived alright. Meantime, goodnight!
