a silly video and a cool shop
(I'm mentally working on maybe a more serious entry, that doesn't include videos or quotes or songs, but it's not ready yet. Or, more precisely, I'm not writing it yet. So here are more passing-along-links things.)
The Goat (2013)--A Short Comedy Film, is indeed a short (2:20) film that is very sweet, about two roommates and a small goat who comes to live with them. If you are having a low moment in your day, this will brighten you right up.
Upcycled items for the home and for fun is how my friend Katie brands her creations. If you're looking for something inexpensive and clever for friends (or you!), you might want to check out Katie's Etsy shop. She makes everything herself, in her atmospheric attic studio (been there! seen it!), from "up-cycled" materials, or cool bits and pieces of things most people ordinarily throw away. Bottle caps, for instance, or fabric samples from furniture stores. Super cute stuff!
