i'm coming back to life, i think. perhaps i have been for all this time, and it's like toni morrison says in beloved, its just that anything dead coming back hurts.

i care about creative things again, not just mine but also everyone elses. i laugh a lot again.

it isn't over yet, but 2009 is going to be better. it must be.
