ANNIVERSARY!
Hoookay. So Marlee and I celebrated out first anniversary today. ^__^ She got me Serial Experiments Lain on DVD! O.O *droool* So excited. >.< I only gotted her a new tablet. ^_^; Which is a little boring, cause it's all useful and not frivolous. *lol* But she cried a little, so I guess it was a good choice on my part.
So then we went to a cabin with my dear friend Jenna, cause we could get away from the house and have some us time, cause Jenna is awesome like that and let us HAVE "us" time. We couldn't go without her, cause it's her parent's cabin? O.o
The day we were supposed to leave, we decided to go swimming and didn't feel overly concerned by smoke over the hill. ^_^;;; It looked farish away. We'd taken the paddle boat partly across the lake to the swimming area. Sooooo when we saw flame peek over the hill we decided it was time to head home. O.O *le sigh* It wasn't really scary, it was waaay on the other side of the lake, for one thing. And we didn't see anything after that. Other than more smoke, obviously. I tried to calm Jenna down and got bitched at cause I'd "never seen everything you had go up in flames" etc. I understand. But there's no reason to panic. Ah well.
Today Marlee had some appointments, but then we went to see Barnyard and to Outback for dinner. *sniff* Outback doesn't have my favorite dish anymore. It's really depressing. I loved my Queensland Chicken and Shrimp. I even know the whole name of it. That doesn't happen very often. XD Ah well. Such things happen. The movie we saw was Barnyard. Or, as I am now calling it.... The Lesbian Cow movie. Why? Because the "boy" cows had udders. Like... the sweet baby being born scene at the end was ruined for everyone else in the theatre when it came out with an udder and someone was all "It's a sweet baby boy." And Mar and I bust into laughter. Loudly. ^__^ Good times, good times.
I miss my kitty. She's been around since I was six. But it's done now. I feel lighter now that she's not suffering, I don't worry she's going to fall down the stairs and die painfully. She wont fall into the pond and suffer when she drowns because she can't crawl out. I'll miss her. But I'll see her later. <3 I just have to remember I'm not going to see her when I go out on the deck or around a corner. Eventually it'll sink in.
