Walking on Sunshine
The sun finally came out this weekend and it was absolutely splendid! I had a wonderful time in Connecticut with my cousin and have now returned to the homestead. I went down there so I could pick my maid-of-honor dress for her wedding in December. The dress we originally wanted was out of the question since it wouldn't arrive in time so we ended up picking something we were not thrilled about. Fortunately for us they gave her the wrong veil so we had to return the next day and we found a fabulous dress that had been put out yesterday after we left... it's perfect!
We also took time out on Saturday to head to this Lenny and Joe's Fish Tale where I had the most deliciousl fish sandwich I've ever had and later headed to the beach for a bit of reading. This morning we decided pamper ourselves with some mani-pedis and generally lazed around her lovely yard after a little shopping. It was all perfect except I missed my puppy terribly. He didn't do too well without me according to mom but luckily my brother came over to keep them company Saturday and stayed with him this morning when mom left to come pick me up in CT. He loves mom but after a day without me he refuses to eat or walk unless it's with my brother.
