BSG goofiness
un_paid_intern and I have been analyzing a certain BSG promo image, and we think we have uncovered the truth about two characters. Remember the famous "Last Supper" pic?
Well, we've figured out what Roslin's burning, and why.
Okay. Because it's kind of hard to see it in that small pic, here's a closeup of the two characters we're going to assess.
As you can see, Roslin is burning something. Something, RDM says, is important to the plot of Season 4. Ron also said that Adama and Roslin were on opposite ends of the table, thus being as far apart as possible, but still facing toward each other. Things have been rough for them this season, but at the same time they're closer than ever. Everyone knows they're into each other and even the key players acknowledge it (Ron said Bill has a crush on Laura, Mary said Laura has a crush on Bill), but the whole "we have duties" thing is keeping them apart. Plus, Adama seems to have a hard time letting go, judging by the fact that he STILL wears his wedding ring despite being divorced for like 20 years (he split with Carolanne when Lee was 8) and he still keeps a picture of their wedding.
Logical conclusion here? SHE'S BURNING THE PIC OF HIS EX-WIFE.
Yeah, yeah, we're nuts. But humor us. We have pretty pictures to go along with it!
Laura: *come hither stare*
Bill: *Adamaglare*
Laura: "HAHA BITCH. How do you like your burning the SECOND time around? Great Toasting of Caprica not hot enough for ya?"
Bill: *Defcon 3 face*
Laura: "He's mine now, you frakking psycho!"
Bill: "Say, did I ever mention how much I sucked at marriage the first time around?"
Laura: "Say, did I ever mention how marriage didn't get in the way of me and my last boyfriend?"
In less silly news, our conversation also touched on Cylon numbering and symbolism and other things and I now have a new leading candidate for who I think is the final Cylon. Hint: one of my favorite characters!
