winter, I hates it
I used to love winter a whole more than I do now. Used to be (when I was in grad school) that we'd be going skiiing to work off the stress of grad school. Not so much now.
Just got back from a business trip to Hilo, Hawai'i though... that was fun. Spent two days at Gemini Observatory's base facility, working with their outreach people. Also went volcano-shooting, which is kinda fun. And dangerous. But, what's a little danger in the grand scheme of things, eh?
