My rabbit is a freaking escape artist. I have no idea how she managed to get out this time. The first two times were mystifying but the second time I caught her, she was right by the opening, so I was like "all right. I'm going to belt this so you can't escape."
That was a few weeks ago so I thought everything was peachy again.
EXCEPT JUST NOW? SHE ESCAPED AGAIN.
And this time it truly is mystifying 'cause the cage was fixed and there's no clear opening for her to get out of. Maybe she jumped over? But the cage is freaking high.
When I came downstairs with my lunch I saw her in the hallway. My initial reaction was WTF ARE YOU DOIN'?!?! and WAHHH WHAT. She saw me too so she made a sharp turn into the laundry room, with the Laundry Mountain Range and the washer and dryer. First thing I did was try to bait her 'cause I cut up some cucumber for her, and at first she was like "OMG WANT" but she saw through my clever trick and thought better. She promptly ran BEHIND the washer and dryer. Queue me to freak out. So I did the only thing I knew: banged on them until it scared her out. :'D; It sort of worked, I saw her run under the sink. I got on my stomach to try and catch her and I almost did, except she was quick and pretty much leaped out of my arms.
She fled right into my room, which is the optimum place to catch her because I am the Master of my Messy Room and can dictate the mess and area at will. I chased her next to my computer desk when I had an OMFG heart attack 'cause she tried to chew on an active wire. I just went "NO YOU DON'T" and that scared her out of it. She went into the corner but she was trapped them, so I scooped her up and put her on my lap for a bit.
I decided to buck up to my paranoia and put her back in for a bit 'cause I have an appointment right now and HAVE to go. And my mom isn't home >>;
She's hilarious though 'cause after I put her back in, the first thing she does? Plop down and stretch down, then relax and do nothing.
Mommy loves you Huckles but please stop trying to escape. I like my bunnies alive and not KFC'd.
Now I have to pack my lunch and catch the bus. T_T The things I do for her.
pet,
