A good many dramatic situations begin with screeming
Monday was luckily far more productive than Sunday. I had a random, un-planned dinner party. Brian and I ran errands, one of which was at Penney's, so he invited Tam-Tams (for some reason, nicknaming Tammy amuses me) for dinner because I was going to cook my first ever Roast. We ended up inviting Peter, since he was probably going to stop by anyway, and Dani, because I'd asked her to stop by anyway. I called Britin, and it turns out she was going to be on her way back from Medford, so she came too.
Before everyone arrived, Brian and I cleaned the majority of the apartment, which was long overdue. I do so love it when things are clean though. I think one more load of dishes and we'll be pretty much caught up, except for the bedroom. It's a war zone in there.
So, the random dinner party was fun. We made everyone play the Wii. Eventually people trickled off one by one, until it was just Brian, Tammelas, and I watching Barbarella, Queen of the Galaxy. I love how it's the worst movie ever, yet it rocks. Meanwhile, I want an orgasm machine, and I want to enjoy it so much that I break it. Hells yes. But anyway...
Tuesday I had to work. After work, Crystal came over and we talked about her wacky life, and I introduced her to the Wii. She leaves Saturday. I'm going to miss her, but so far I'm doing a fairly good job of not getting super-attached again.
Today I worked. Managed to get a decent amount of stuff done, but I'm still not happy because I'm bitter. They're apparently training Tammy for Karen's job, despite the fact that there are a lot of people (i.e. ME) who've been there longer. But it makes sense. I guess Tammy did the same job at another company. Still... bitter.
Speaking of which, I have to work early tomorrow, so I should go to bed. Meh.
