i am glad, despite all differences and maybe shitty times, that we are still in one another's lives.

i'm glad too.

it was almost too much to see you so sad last week but i was glad that i was there, too...but it really really really got to me. not your fault, i just don't want you to be in pain.

what happened at the fort? i don't think anybody told me that something epic and history making was going to happen.

i was working at this art party/show at jules de balincourt's space...it was pretty cool. orphan played. i drank two small beers and got drunk.

i was joking about epic and history making. Blake and Aaron's new band played. the internet found out in advance some how and so bloggers everywhere were losing their shit and people drove up from like Baltimore and Philly because DUDE THE DUDE FROM JAWBREAKER IS IN A NEW BAND! it was hella weird. me and Cory were talking about it and decided it is better when a house show gets blowed up and the internet comes because all they do is take too many pictures and they're really pretty wimpy so you can just sort of push them aside and watch bands and MAYBE they'll write something scathing on argyledaydreams.blogspot.com, but they probably won't even do that.

rather than when like, a hundred summer-crusties show up and puke on your bed and fuck in your shower and shoot up in the kitchen and tell a million racist jokes and try to fight everyone.

and yeah, it sucked being that sad but it was really good to have you around for some of it.
