For the record, here are the bands I saw in Primavera 2012:
Thursday
The Afghan Whigs (walked past on the way to Grimes)
Grimes (bit like Bjork, bad sound, people dancing strangely on the stage who looked like they'd been pulled out of the crowd. Music was ok but the hipsters fucking loved it)
Death Cab For Cutie (quite good but I mainly talked my chums)
Beirut (everyone loves them but I'm still unmoved)
Refused (hard rock/nu metal, bit too heavy for me)
The xx (slept through nearly all of it, most of their songs sounded remixed)
Franz Ferdinand (commanding stage presence, I enjoyed what I remember)
John Talabot (great dance)
Erol Alkan (great dance)
Friday
The Cure (epic, 3-hour gig. Missed Sleigh Bells and Napalm Death. So long we eventually left to go see...)
The Drums (amazing, like Vampire Weekend, much better than their single Let's Go Surfing suggests)
The Rapture (amazing indie dance)
Saturday
Saint Etienne (missed most due to Tee losing her ticket, thankfully we got in eventually)
Yo La Tengo (surprisingly dull, I think it was lost in the big venue)
Justice (amazing dance)
