I was able to get something accomplished today.  The rain is actually a help to me.  And I think I've figured out how to secure my journal.

I found a dish in the back room.  I've left it outside to collect the rain, and it should be full soon.  With the proper spells, it should be a very serviceable water mirror.

I'm in a warehouse of sorts. If I look out the window, I can see a watertower in the distance... it's covered in black, that place.
