I'm going to Taiwan on the 5th of July. My last trip before university starts in August. Finally! An opportunity to use my rusty Mandarin. I can pull a decent conversation off in Mandarin, but I don't know if I can do so for 9 days. The last time I've ever had a commendable conversation in Mandarin would be for the A Level's Oral examinations. Almost two years ago. Wow. HL has doubts about us surviving there. (And I keep reminding her that both of us scored A for our A Levels Mother Tongue, so surviving's no issue at all.)
Yeah right.
Anyway, yay for being a little closer to the Motherland China. (Which is really ridic, calling China my Motherland. I've only been to China like, 3 times? And I have zero relatives there; my grandparents don't even know which part of China their parents are from.)
