The Weekend
I had a nice holiday weekend. Other than the past hour, I've taken a break from work all weekend. Instead, I've been reading books, cleaning, playing WOW, cleaning, talking to people, cleaning...I even worked some on creative writing. It was a tiny bit, though.
It turns out that a new person has taken over the Cary Book Club on meetup.com so I will get to discuss "The Kite Runner". It is a great book so far. It is about friendship and jealousy. Fathers and sons. The works. I love it when a first-person narrator has flaws. It is so refreshing.
