Zoegirl/Jump5 Concert

WOW!! that is the only word to describe the concert i went to last night!! it was THE best concert i have ever been to!! we were pretty far back, but they had screens, and it's not as if the performers were sooo far away that we had to use binoculars. it totally rocked!! we picked up my friend missy earlier in the day, and then we headed out to redmond's overlake christian church. ok, this church is so big, that they have tram stations in the parking lot...no kidding. so we finally get in there and most of us had to go to the bathroom, so we did that while we waited for them to open the doors. we also got pop. i got cherry coke. lol anyways, they finally open the doors, and since we had assigned seating, there was no rush to get there. we walked around the lobby area for a few minutes to check out the displays. they had a zoegirl display, they had one for jump5, and they had one for kimberly perry, she was the opening act. the largest one was the display for compassion. it's a sponsering program that let's you make a difference in a child's life by sending $32 dollars a month to them. it's pretty neat. anyways, we found our seats, and they had a powerpoint thing going to entertain us for a while. it was one of those "hey i'm the computer and i'm talking to you, so pay attention!!" type of thing. it was pretty funny. then to start everything off, they had napoleon dynamite introducing everyone and acting like...well...napoleon!!
anyways, i think it was brandon from jump5 dressed up to be napoleon...lol anyways, we watched the pre-show performer, kimberly perry, perform, and she was alright, but she always had her mouth right on the mike, so u couldn't understand her as well. whatever. she did 4 songs and then said goodbye. napoleon came on again to tell us to give it up for zoegirl, and then they came out onstage. that was really cool. they did a super good job, and they gave testimonies every once and a while. they did a compassion campaign, and asked the audience to sponser a child. guess what!! we're sponsering!! yay!! our sponser child is named Keshava Muniyappa. he's an 8 yr. old Indian boy. he's really cute!! whoever sponsered a child that night was given a free zoegirl cd and a free jump5 cd, so that was pretty cool too. anyways, zoegirl sang a few more songs, and then they had an intermission for fifteen minutes that u could use to go sign up for sponsering. we did that, and then raced back upstairs to our seats to get ready for the jump5 part of the night. they did an awesome job!! i mean like super!! the vocals rocked, the dance moves TOTALLY rocked, and the gymnastics.....WOAH BABY!! i'm serious!! one of the guys...i think it was chris, did a front or back flip w/out hands, and he was at least five feet up in the air!! no kidding!! well, it all ended too soon, but considering the endurance the performers had out on stage, i'm guessing they were dog tired. since we had the cds from sponsering a child through compassion, we decided to get them signed. of course we did. it was really awesome, cause i got to meet zoegirl and jump5 in person(and i've got two brand new autographed cds which sooo totally rocks). everyone was super nice. by the time we left, it was like 10:45 pm. the concert started at seven!! yikes!! missy and i have both since lost our voices, so i'm sitting here typing this w/ a sore throat...miss lewis is gonna kill me...she's my voice teacher, and i have lessons on tuesday...lol...it was soooo totally worth it though. i'm gonna try to get the jump5 learning to dance video, cause they had some stellar moves last night, and i want to learn how to do some of them and possibly(with missy's help of course) show them off at dance class some time. yep...that was a sweet concert....
