Dear Loudspeaker,
I'm one week and a half into training at my new job, and everything is acceptable -- this may be because I haven't actually started the main task the job requires of me yet. I'm still in happy easy training-land. Really, I'm just happy to have a solid job again. Although I value my free time almost as much as anything, it doesn't value me enough to cover my rent. If anything, I'm going to relearn how to make the most of my time.
I biked through centrepointe park today and stopped to read for awhile. It was one of those really bright days but with touches of rain and clouds. Days like this (mixed with being out in an open space) put me in mind of some kind of catastrophic meteorological event. All I can manage to do is sit down, relax and read a book. What's to be done if the sky is coming apart?
I'm excited to hear the Body Lovers/Body Haters reissue double album. Any time is roughly when it will arrive in the mail.
At about two thirds of the way through Camus' "The Plague," I'm pretty certain that this is precisely what would happen were Mississauga to be struck with such a contagion (the Mississauga of 4 years ago, anyway -- I haven't been back to take a really good look).
