I'm giving it another try. Twenty-seven isn't too old right?

you can! you really can! And if first you don't succeed try try again! your going pass but there's no pressure. You don't have only one chance it isn't the olympics or anything. you can retake either part of the license test as many times as you need. they don't cut you off at a certain point and there definitely isn't an age limit.

I didn't pass the written test the first time. I think I'm a bit dyslexic and a bit add. I found it very distracting trying to take the test with all kinds of noise and people coming and going. you should make an appointment so you don't have to wait in line for hours. and go early in the morning so there are fewer people there to distract you.

and there's no rush. it isn't a timed test. and nobody is checking for cheaters. I think there are 4 or 5 different multiple choice tests altogether. and they repeat most of the questions. you get to keep your test pass or fail and they correct it so you can memorize the questions you got wrong.

the driving test itself is the hard one. so many things could go wrong. some of those driving testers are weird. just relax and take your time.

you need hours and hours behind the wheel before you can master everything. it's a time thing. but once you learn it it becomes automatic. you don't have to think about it anymore your body just does it. it's really awesome!

it is such a wonderful thing to be able to just get in the car and drive yourself somewhere without having to depend on anybody else. It's fantastic you will wish you did it ages ago!

The written test I've done before so I know mostly what to expect thankfully. Though I do need to study the specifics. It's the practicing and actual driving test I'd be worried about. I know I can do it because I took classes ages ago and I've driven on the freeway. I just haven't had enough practice to make me comfortable with it yet.

That's what I'm hoping for - to not have to rely on anyone else if I can help it. Or for emergencies. Better to know than not know. Just in case.
