TGIF but I'm not singing that damn song! Even though it's stuck in my head now...
Working downtown is dangerous. Well, for a couple reasons, but I'm actually talking about the stores. Thankfully I don't care much for designers or I'd be in real trouble. I eat my lunch across the street from Louis Vuitton and Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. It's bad enough I pass Sephora everyday on the way to AND from work. There's also the massive Macy's, delicious food, and a cupcake shop called Cako Bakery like a block away. In fact, someone brought in some cupcakes the other day. A strawberry cheesecake cupcake saved me from falling asleep at 3 in the afternoon ;)
Anyhoo, here are a couple pictures I took of where I eat my lunch during the week. Took them with my phone because I didn't think to carry my camera around.
My stand mixer came in the mail yesterday! It was supposed to but I didn't see it get delivered so I went online to track it. Amazon said it was delivered and the location was 'PORCH' so I went outside and what do you know, there it was! Yay technology!! I haven't used it yet or even taken it out of the box. I plan on making something this weekend though so when I do, I'll take a picture of it :)
Also got my Lady Gaga's 'Pray for Japan' bracelets in the mail.
Tomorrow is my friend's bday so I'm going to go watch Arthur in the morning (I can't help but love Russell Brand) and then we're going to hang out.
And at some point this weekend, I'm going to have to mail off my help_japan stuff as well as start on the icons I owe people. Getting a job has really cramped my style. I just realized I won't be around to play Nutsy Bolts with the holmesverse group. And I haven't been able to work on as many challenges lately. Not cool :/ In fact I know there's more that I'm forgetting. I guess I better go and find that to-do list I wrote and then put somewhere 'safe' *facepalm*
