Thing the first:
A picture of the DVD set I won from

Thing the second:
I watched the new BBC version of Sherlock the other night and
It was dark, fun, there were some great one-liners, and the story was interesting, compelling, and there was real suspense! I'm a sucker for anything Holmes related, so I knew I was going to give it a chance no matter what. Then I heard Moffat was involved and I was a little worried because it sounded too good to be true. I found out it was a modern-day adaptation and I was a little anxious, but mostly excited because I love AUs and reincarnations so I had a feeling I'd have fun. Little did i know just how much I would enjoy it. I loved the music as well. And the way around the whole 'drug' thing ;)
I must confess though that the final confrontation between Sherlock and the cabbie, while intense and dramatic, reminded me of The Princess Bride. And once that thought got into my head, all I could think was 'NEVER GO IN AGAINST A SICILIAN WHEN DEATH IS ON THE LINE!'
