After a hectic week at work...
One needs time to relax...
I had just that week, and thankfully the relaxation time too. I worked 3 stores in little over 24 hours. That wasn't too fun. But my next paycheck will be NICE! Between the first and second stores, Lew, Elaine and I all brought pillows, food, and other drinks in case we got out of the first store too late. The two stores were both out in Brighton, so 30 minutes there and back... not fun when you need sleep. But we were able to go home between the stores. But I didn't sleep anyway and I was a wreck at the store the next morning. In an hour I think I made more mistakes than I have in my entire career at RGIS. It was bad. Eventually the store went better.
The last store was pretty fun. I got to see Dom, I haven't seen him in ages. We both talked about our other halves. And I got to see a picture of his girlfriend. We picked on each other and joked around some. Just before I left he tried to get me to help him pull tags but I was already clocked out and walking out the door. So I gave him a hug, mainly cause I barely see him. Plus he's kinda like a brother to me in the way we pick on each other.
On Thursday Elaine, Lew and I all went to the office together to get our paychecks. As a get out of Lew's van and Walk towards the office door I hear, "KASIA!" I look toward the sound and see Carol's van and realize its her girls calling me. So I went over to them and talked briefly and gave the girls hugs. Austin is still scared of me, which is amusing, considering that he could take me if he so chose. But he's about 15 now and I scared him good about 3 year ago now, its had a lasting impression.
So all in all, i had a pretty good week. I haven't seen Brett since Monday, so that kinda sucks. But really what made the end of my week was seeing Carol's kids. I love those guys and miss seeing them.
If we had the room in the apartment I'd ask Carol about the girls staying here for a day or two, though i should ask her about me going out there. Considering that she was talking about figuring out ways to keep Brianna busy during the summer. I'm pretty good at doing that.
I'm pretty sure I haven't posted this cause its still kinda new news. Carol got promoted to Area Manager cause Gary got promoted to District Manager in another office. So I'm happy Carol got promoted cause she deserved it, but I'm sad cause Gary's gone. But I'll live. Hopefully I'll find another job soon. I got a call back from Wal-Mart in Ypsi but I haven't been able to reach the guy every time I call him back. I'm going to try again tomorrow. But I have to throw away my promise to Carol about not leaving RGIS without her. I need something more steady than RGIS. I haven't told her anything yet cause I don't know whats going to happen with this Job. I'm scared to tell her if I get it though.
