Sad news for Doctor Who lovers
Nicholas Courtney, who played the Brigadier in Doctor Who, has died aged 81.

He first appeared in The Web of Fear, opposite Patrick Troughton in 1968, and later became a regular with Jon Pertwee. Less so with Tom Baker, he made only a few appearances with Peter Davison and one with Sylvester McCoy, and appeared with Colin Baker in the Big Finish audio dramas.
Known for being very popular at conventions, he got on very well with fans ;)
Some famous Brigadier quotes:
"Hmmm.... Jenkins! Chap with wings there. Five rounds rapid."
"Get off my world!"

Nicholas Courtney was also in a story with William Hartnell, playing Space Security Agent Bret Vyon in The Daleks' Master Plan. He was the only actor to have appeared with all the original Doctors. (Thanks to skullculture).
