Who is the Doctor?
Other Doctors in the past have been met with raised eyebrows (i.e. Peter Davison, who was 29 when he got the role), but I know nothing of this new guy, and he's nearly a year younger than me! It just doesn't work in my head. It smells like another RTD decision, and that guy has shown repeatedly that he has no taste.
I'm guessing this is a sign that they want to increase the pace of Doctor Who even more, as an older Doctor would not be as energetic as the new series demands, and peoples' attention spans are too short for stories like The Silurians? (which we watched last night).
P.S. I had a Doctor Who themed New Year, at fetket and Edith's flat, with Jules and Rob J Lee, which was great. I love Doctor Who, and particularly like Tom Baker, Patrick Troughton and Sylvester McCoy.
P.P.S. I ordered 2 Sansa SanDisk Clips which arrived today (one each for me and Jules). £30, 8Gb, supports Ogg Vorbis and flac, and reviews have described its audio quality as being very impressive. Plus it's not an Apple product, so I can rest easy knowing that the competition out there is better.
