Happy Birthday Sarah!!!!!
Tonight was the 2nd night of the Pirates of Penzance. Once again the audience was great, and it looks like after tomorrow night, ticket sales should put us above this years budget. (Atleast from what I understand.)
After the show, I went to the Harry Potter Book 6 release party, and am now a proud owner of "The Half Blood Prince". When I got there, there was a huge line that stretched around the outside of the store. Apparently, the buildings capacity had met it's limit. (Last time, they didn't really care about the limit, I think, since it was extremely crowded.) I stood in line with my friend Don, who had been in a few Savoyards shows with me, and then changed to tech crew with the group. A bit after that, my friend Meghan showed up with her friend, and we all waited in line together to get in. At 12:30, April and Lance got there just as we were going in, after they went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (which they said was a great movie, by the way.) We all got our books at roughly the same time. After that, I went to Denny's with A&L for a late night snack. Now I'm home, and updating my LJ before jumping into the book.
Last night I had two pretty strange dreams.
The first one had me as some sort of Wayne Szalinski type inventor, who was showing off his latest invention to his family. It was a water cannon that supposedly got rid of the bad humidity that has been making this summer unbearable (I called it the De-Humidity-Fier). In the dream, I was spraying the living room with the water cannon, but forgot that all that water needed someplace to go after being sprayed. So, for about 10 minutes dream time, the living room ceiling is dripping large amounts of water. At the end of this dream, an old women who was sitting on the living room couch closes her umbrella, says that the rain has about stopped, and takes a sip of tea.
The second dream involved a huge party where what seemed like everyone I knew was there. While at this party, I spent some time talking to this girl who I have a crush on in real life, and at one point there was a ballroom dancing scene where I danced with her. In the dream, I hadn't told this girl that I liked her yet, but I think I was planning to. She disappeared for a moment though, and then I saw her talking to my friend, Will. In the dream, I instantly knew that her and Will had just met and fallen for one another, before I had a chance to tell her anything. Something like this has happened to me before in real life, and it was the crappiest feeling in the world to go through it again, even in a dream. The worst part was that later in the dream, I was talking to Will, and he was telling me about how wonderful she was and how much they had in common. This dream probably won't come true though, since these two people probably have no chance of ever meeting, plus, Will is in a long-lasting and very happy relationship. I guess the moral of the dream was that I can't keep holding out on letting people know how I feel. Too bad I'm such a chicken when it comes to telling people things like that, lol.
Oh well, enough about me, time to escape to the world of Harry Potter!
