This weekend looks like it's gonna be pretty hectic.

Today at work I took a phone call. First they asked me if we were open on Saturday. After I said yes, I assumed the conversation would soon be over, but then they started to ask me if we can ship wooden trunks. I'd assume these are normal "trunk" sizes, so I begrudgingly tell the customer that we can. She then asks if we can ship a four foot cabinet, (dimensions 48x36x18, 100lbs). I tell her that we can, but we'd have to build a box for it. She then asks me how much this will cost, so I begin to write down all the information I'd need to make a quote. After I get that information, I tell her that I'd call her back once I have a chance to figure it out. As I try to say goodbye, she then remembers that she needs to send her dinnerware. We have something called a China Pack at work, which uses a huge box and tons of cardboard and bubble wrap, and is incredibly time consuming. Unfortunately, this is what we have to use to pack her dinnerware. When it's all said and done, she's paying about.... $500-$600 for shipping. And that's only an estimate.

So this is all coming in tomorrow, along with 3 Frame Packs that are on hold from today. (Frame Packs are for paintings and photos, where we put glass tape on the glass, bubblewrap it, put it in a cardboard sandwich, then put it in a cardboard box with 2 inches of peanuts on all sides.) Along with all the normal customers that will be coming in, tomorrow is gonna be hell at work.

Once done at work, I need to drive out past Whitney Point to my family's cottage on Melody Lake and learn how to use the lawnmower thats there. This shouldn't take more than an hour, but it's the drive that takes about an hour each way. Our rehearsal starts at 7:00, so I really hope that I make it there on time. If not, any of you Savoyards reading this, tell Rich that I'm on my way as quickly as possible. I don't plan on being late, so I didn't tell him anything, but now I'm starting to second guess my thinking.

After Saturday is over, our first day on the stage at BU starts, and we're having a 5 hour rehearsal to get everything sorted out there. That shouldn't be too bad, but right after that I have to go and mow my Aunt Dorothy's lawn, then most likely my own lawn will need mowing at this point. There goes any time to hang out with my friends who I havn't been able to see too much of recently because of the show.

And now that I'm done complaining, I'm going to go shave. This damn neck beard has been annoying me for the past two days due to my own stupidness of forgetting that I need to shave every day or so. Oh, Guess I wasn't done complaining, lol.

But hey, Dinner was fun tonight, and I don't work Monday, so it's only two bad days in a row.
