Well, I guess it's time for me to join all you people who are writing your final papers. I'm currently working on my final Philosophy paper, which is due the 12th. It's only supposed to be 5 pages, so I thought I could get away with procrastinating a bit (I found out about the paper 2 weeks ago.)
So, today I wake up and say to myself "I'll be done mowing the lawn by 1:30. Then I'll give myself until 10 to finish my paper. That's a good time frame, I mean there's no way it will take me 8 and a half hours to write a 5 page paper!" Well, here I am at 8:00, and I only have three pages, lol. I swear, I have the worse attention span when it comes to writing about things which I know nothing about. I'd spend a couple minutes looking up info, then go off to read about a computer game. I'd spend a couple more minutes writing my intro sentance, stop half-way, then check my e-mail. Right now, I'm in the middle of researching, and decided to let you all know about my paper.
My topic is on the philophies of Immanuel Kant and David Hume, more specifically, how they view the moral statement "Murder is wrong" as either synthetic, or synthetic a priori. I've explained Kant's views, so now all I need to do is explain Hume's, and then chose a side to defend. If I were to concentrate 100%, it wouldn't be a problem, but the paper isn't due until Thursday at 4:30, so I can't really force myself to stick with it.
Hey, I guess that mean's I'm not being irresponsible and procrastinating. I'm doing my paper a couple days early because I know about my school work habits, so that makes me a responsible person (in some odd sense... lol)
To those of you who remember, I am still promising to write up my stories, and once this paper is out of the way, I'll start putting them up.
In other news, I want all of you to go out and buy Guild Wars! It is a really fun MMORPG that doesn't have the monthly fee, like most online games do. And if you start playing, maybe you can join April's guild "KC and the Sunshine Band"! The guild in which I am one of the top three members (there's only three so far, lol) Once the guild gets enough people, we might be able to start competing in the games online.
Well, I guess I babbeled enough for now, back to my paper!.... wait, dinner!
